Dear Colleagues,

Since its inception as one of the first Anesthesiology societies in the country, the Cleveland Society Of Anesthesiologists [CSA] has served as a voice for Anesthesiologists, a source of fellowship, good will, political support, and continuing medical education for all Anesthesiologists across Greater Cleveland.

This year's annual Whitacre lecture series and dinner was held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in downtown Cleveland.

The topics of our annual meeting were "Advances in Acute Pain Management" presented by Pamela Palmer, MD, PhD, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of AcelRx.  The second topic was "Enhanced Recovery Protocol and New Regional Anesthesia Techniques" presented by Jeffrey Gonzales, MD, President Enhanced Recovery Anesthetic Consultants.
